Hair

Hair is not my my strongest skill, and in my outcome i really want it to be neat and beautiful so i am thinking of getting an assistant who is really good at hair to assist me on my shoot.

However i still want to design it myself. I have done some research below about what people usually do with hair during bodypaints.

Possible hair Styles

I really like the hairstyle below, and it is probably the one i will go with.

With this style i think i could either paint the hair before styling or afterward, just take the bodypaint into the hairline with the airbrush, and possible decorate the plait with other oclour or hair decorations.

Another possibilty for the hair is to have it all up in a bun like this. I personally think it looks a little harsh and sharp. However if i were to paint into the hair this may be the best option because it give a smooth surface to apply the paint onto. I slo looked at references from recent red carpets, catwalks and events. Because i wan't the style to be similar to current trends to keep with the beauty aspect of my bodypaint.

I have really specific requirements for what i want the hair to represent-

  • I want it to be really beautiful and accentuate the beauty of my model.

  • I want it to look regal and royal and powerful.

  • I want it to be up and out od her face because of the bodypaint.

  • I want it to represent and go with the the mother earth theme.

Below is another style of plaits wrapped close to the head, i don't think i like it as much as the one above because it doesn't look as regal, but in case there is a problem with the style above i could use something like this below. Because i still think the plaits are pretty.
