Assistant
Final Stage- "Oil"
Health and Safety Checklist
I asked Connie Frost to assist me on application for a number of reasons.
1- Because of the amount of prosthetics and the full bodypaint i wanted an extra pair of hands to help with drying the adhesive, keeping the desk clean and sorting the paints out between airbrushing.
2- I want to keep the application time down to about 3 hours ideally.
3- I am really impressed with connie's skill and neatness with her work. I also know that she has strengths in areas where i do not. For example with hair. - On application she is going to do my models hair for me in my design.
Order Of Application
My plan for application of this makeup is to work from the head down.
-Before application I will ask my model to change into the underwear and dressing gown.
-Connie will plait and style the hair whilst I paint and style my model's nails.
-Then i should be able to easily appy the beauty and watercolour makeup to the face and neck.
-The next step is to move onto the airbrushing and bodypainting.
Powder the whole face with Kryolan Transluscent powder.
Contouring
Then in the highlights use - MUA undress your skin white highlighter (Pictured below)
in the contours use-

For the Fake Oil that i am pouring over my model in the campaign film i am using Lyle's Golden Syrup coloured with black food colouring. i have tested this with my model, and as it is a food substance it is safe.
Hands, feet and nails
The model will be wearing beige lycra underwear from primark that i can paint over.
Snazaroo Colours-
Royal Blue Black White
From the research i have done, i have found that for using all over the face Aquacolour paints are more suitable to use on the face than airbrushing silicone based picgments all over. So i have decided to use a mix of the Kryolan Aquacolour palette and the Snazaroo Watercolours.
Just as a finishing touch, I want to paint my models nails to complete the look. I have decided to use Nail Paint - SKNP8 Forest by barry M. because it gives a nice metallic finish and the navy blue/geen finish matches my design.
