This video was always a big inspiration for my project. In my opinion it is the most effective makeup advertising/campaign video i have seen.
What i really like about this video is the change half way through and that moment of realisation for the audience when he starts removing his makeup and they realise that he actually has all those tattoos.
This is something i definitely want to have in my film i think it is such a powerful tool for an ad campaign.

I took some screenshots of some of the shots i really would like in my film. The woman above is the closest in age and bodyshape to what i want me model to be.
Vibrant Tears, Killer Heels
Although the drips in this film are CGI this is the type of style i want my film to have. With the high key lighting, the white background and the movement of the camera following the drips. I like the way that they fall down the models body too.
But mainly i was intrigues with the first shot of the paint coming out of the models tear duct so it looked like she was crying black paint.
I Love this video.
The whole idea of it is just great.
I think the slow motion works so well. And helps make the piece really emotional.
Further to this is the models' expressions, because all their eyes are closed and they are literally covered in honey they look so vulnerable and peaceful. but also helpless at the same time.
This is an example f how i wouldn't want my piece to look, although it is the same idea and the lighting and background are nice, the paint is totally not what i want. Here it looks comical and messy and doesnt not make the model look comfortable or emotional.
