Personally i am quite pleased with the outcome of this piece. considering how i am not that confident with fashion makeup.

I still wish i could manipulate the hair better, i kind of wish it was bigger and more crimped. but i am proud of the plaits and overall look.

For the makeup, the only thing that i am not 100% happy with is the piece on the forhead only because i don't think that it is quite symmetrical.

I also wish i had managed to get a better image for my portfolio, as even though i may not put this in there, i don't believe that these images would be good enough for a portfolio.

In comparison to my test makeup i believe it is so much better, the colours are stronger and the placement is more accurate and defined. I wish i had a more purple colour on the lips, but i had to work with what i had in my kit. And i am so glad i bought the gems and the lashes as i believe it makes the makeup op and give it a more finished look.

Overall though i do beelieve that i sucsessfully filled the brief of creating a henna inspired Fashion makeup.

Editorial - Collaborative Printed work. It tells a story and has a narative. The makeup in this kind of work can be over the top, fantastical, experimental and high fashion.

Whereas Commercial - is all about selling the product. It is a little less extravagant and has to make the makeup look nice so people want to buy it.

An important thing to know when creating fashion makeups is about the culture and the audience you are selling to , and you must keep your makeups relevant and up to date with latest trends.
